Search.conduit.com is a malware virus that enters into your browser without your knowledge (most probably while you are installing some other free softwares ) and redirect the home page, search engine etc of your browser to their domain. This makes the users to enter their site and search from their website. But Personally I hate spam and likes to search in Google rather than spammy sites like that, I hope most of you also likes the same !
They claims that conduit toolbar is not a spam and still many people finds it boring and they doesn’t provide simple ‘uninstall’ options so that the users are forced to their search engine. Don’t worry we will explain you how to remove it
How the hell can I remove the conduit toolbar from my computer ??
Oh ! Its actually simple. If your homepage is redirecting to search.conduit.com ( the address bar may not show this url unless you search something),The first step is to;
- Go to Computer -> control panel -> Uninstall programs and if you could find the name ‘Conduit toolbar” uninstall it. If you can’t find it, Don’t worry and Just move on to the next step
- Open a new page and then In the footer itself, you may see an option called ‘restore’
Click on it and click ok in the message window that comes.
3. Now go to settings -> Manage search engines and make sure that google itself is the search engine
4. Now go to settings -> appearences and click the ‘Show home button’ and change it to ‘Use the new tab page’
That’s it the conduit toolbar and search has been successfully removed from your chrome browser. Enjoy the web browsing without anyone tracking / forcing you
so i tried both. its not in my programs or files. and coduit has already removed the restore option. please help
